His parents were completely taken aback by this incredible woman who was taking care of his mother. She was going above and beyond her duty as a caretaker, so they decided to call him to gush about how amazing she was. He felt like he needed to meet this wonderful woman. When he finally did, she shared a story that left him in tears. But when he stared at her for a bit, it suddenly hit him. His life would do a 180, and it was all thanks to something that took place years ago.
Her Name Is Tunde Hector

The wonderful woman who had the entire family gushing about her was originally from Bogart, Georgia. Her name was Tunde Hector, and she was going through a rough patch. She'd recently divorced her husband and was starting to slowly get her life together. Life was no picnic, but she believed that God would guide her path. Tunde had no idea what life had in store for her. But before things could get better, they were about to get worse for Tunde.
Not A Penny To Her Name
Tunde was having a rough time, as she could barely make ends meet. Every day was a struggle for her, so all she could do was pray for a miracle to come her way. But this particular day was about to get worse. It was pouring like crazy outside, and the last thing Tunde wanted to do was step outside, but she knew she needed to stay strong and head to work if she wanted to start rebuilding her life. She never finished her bachelor's degree, but she was working as a nurse aide at a hospice. She was the type of person that flourished when they took care of others, and she loved her job. What she didn't love, though, was the fact that she barely had $5 in her pocket. As she was heading to work, her car run out of gas. She was stuck there. Now there was nothing else she could do but head to the nearest gas station. Thankfully, someone had been watching over her this entire time.
In 2014, Chris Wright was making his way to church along with his entire family when he run into a car that seemed to be stranded. Then he saw a woman walking under the rain. She was obviously trying to reach the nearest gas station. As you probably already figured out, the woman was none other than Tunde Hector, and she needed someone to come to her rescue. Chris had no idea who she was at the time, so he just kept driving. When he finally got to the Cornerstone Church in nearby Athens, he told his family to go ahead and get inside the church without him. Then he hopped back on the car. Chris knew there was something else he needed to do first.
The Cornerstone Church
Chris drove all the way back to where he had spotted the helpless lady. He asked her if she needed any help, which Tunde obviously needed. Everything had gone from bad to worse in a few hours. She was already late for work and her car had left her stranded on the road. She felt truly abandoned. But Chris' life motto was simple: “Do unto others as you would have them do unto you” A verse from Matthew 7:12. Chris needed to help this poor woman, but he could've ever imagined that this little act of kindness would end up affecting him years later.
